After three straight months of falls it was a really rather good month for tech on the Stock Markets. NASDAQ was up 6% and the UK FTSE SCS Index up 5%. The only sector that I cover that was down was Support Services – down 2.3%. In a way that is a bit strange as BPO seems to be doing well right now. But Support Services also includes some of the ITSAs which have not being doing so well.
Although the high number of bids were one reason for the good performance, the best performances came from the likes of Telecity, MicroFocus and Detica – all recorded 20%+ rises on good performance and/or outlook
