Prince's Trust Christmas Reception 8th Dec 08

(By Richard Holway) Just a reminder in case you haven't booked your tickets yet for the Prince's Trust Technology Leadership Group Christmas Reception. Well over 225 guests are now attending so we are a smidgen from putting up the House Full signs. The guest list is amazing with everyone who is anybody in UK IT sector coming.

This year’s event will take place on Monday 8th December at the glorious Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington. Starting at 6.30pm, the evening includes drinks and canapés. As well as enduring a short speech from me, this year’s reception will include a keynote speech from a well known Prince’s Trust ambassador and exclusive access to the Cold War Modern Design 1945-70 exhibition. This exhibition will showcase the many unprecedented technological developments created not just in the West, but also in the Soviet Bloc during the post war period. The Prince's Trust will have exclusive use of the V&A during the evening.

If you would like to come – or maybe bring some of your colleagues and customers and make it a 'Corporate Hospitality Event'- do it now to avoid disappointment. Contact Jamie Webb at The Prince's Trust at jamie.webb@princes-trust.org.uk to receive a booking form. Tickets are priced at £250 each or £400 for two.

Footnote - HRH Prince Charles' 60th Birthday last week created a wave of publicity (and great positive support) for the work of the Prince's Trust. I am still amazed at how few people understand the great work that it does in helping the most disadvantaged of our young people get a decent start in life! Its work is required even more in these dire economic times but, of course, corporate funding for such charities is under increased threat too. So any help you can give is even more important now.
