Yahoo loses its Yang

(By Anthony Miller) Yahoo founder Jerry Yang announced he is stepping down as the company’s CEO as soon as a replacement is appointed. We’ve written much on the ‘will it be bought, won’t it be bought’ saga in recent times and no doubt this will reignite the debate yet again, though whether the lights burned late last night in Redmond may be moot. More from Richard tomorrow as we are both just heading off to the “Growth and Exit Strategies Conference for Software and Internet Companies” conference at the Paddington Hilton today. How very appropriate.
