Can we wish all HotViews readers a very Happy Christmas and may 2009 bring you everything you wish for.

Richard is off to Oz on grandson adoration duties and Anthony is in Brazil visiting family. Modern communications, and our probably misplaced desire to keep up with everything that happens in the sector whilst on holiday, means that if something earth-shattering occurs we will let you know. Otherwise we will be back as normal in the New Year.

Indeed, the New Year will see the launch of the new TechMarketView subscriber services – which will be a major test to the model! But we can assure you that UKHotViews will remain as a free service. We end the year having busted our readership target by some considerable extent.
