Autonomy to beat guidance and consensus

(By Anthony Miller) It’s nice to hear some good news for a change, and particularly from a UK player. Autonomy has just announced that it will beat guidance and consensus forecasts when it finalises its FY results (to Dec. ’08). The company has reported a slew of contract wins and OEM partnerships for its flagship search product, IDOL, in recent months as companies try to get a better grip on their unstructured data. Sounds like a great tool for forensic analysis - perhaps Satyam’s auditors should have been using it!
