Prince's Trust Million Makers

(By Richard Holway) A few weeks ago I brought you news of Mudassir Husain from Fujitsu Services who had entered the Prince’s Trust Million Makers with http://www.donatebypixel.com/ .

Today I was sent details from the Oracle team. They had a photo competition amongst Oracle employees and have produced a really very good 2009 Calendar with the winning entries.

If you are looking for a last minute Christmas present – or just want to give to a really great cause – then why not buy one (or 10 or a 100!) for yourself?

To do this:

1 – Log into justgiving at www.justgiving.com/gungho and donate £11 for each calendar you want (the price includes P&P)

2 – Send an email to Sue Chidgey of Oracle at sue.chidgey@oracle.com with details your order/donation and the delivery address for the calendar.

Footnote – We had a great evening at the Prince’s Trust Technology Leadership Group Winter Reception at the Victoria and Albert on Monday night. Around 250 top executives from our members and the wider IT community in the UK, attended. The evening included a talk from the war journalist, Kate Aide, and a spirited interview with two of the young people that the Prince’s Trust had helped (one of them had always wanted to be a clown and the Prince’s trust had helped him to setup as a children’s entertainer. He was a natural in that role!)

Great to see so many UKHotViews readers there.
